Patrick Hawes is a dear friend of Choir of the Earth, having composed the stunning Quanta Qualia, which the Choir has adopted as its anthem.

The Wedding at Cana is Patrick’s first major choral work - a cantata depicting the biblical story of the wedding at Cana of Galilee, where Jesus performed his first miracle, turning water into wine.

In November and December 2024 our marvellous Musical Director Ben England will teach this special work and we will record into January 2025 so you will have lots of time to record.
