Following our popular come and sing tours for Handel's Messiah and Mozart's Requiem, Choir of the Earth and Labrador Events are delighted to invite you to come and sing Joseph Haydn's glorious "Nelson" Mass with the brilliant Ben England BEM!

When you book a ticket for one of our come and sing tour events, the fun starts before the day itself. With the confirmation of your booking you will receive a digital resource pack to help you prepare for the event, whether you are learning the music for the first time, or just refreshing your memory. The pack includes:

🔹 A digital score of the whole work

🔹 Recorded line-by-line teaching sessions for each voice part, plus full choir overview rehearsals

🔹 Learning tracks with each voice part louder, recorded by professional singers

At the event itself, our charismatic Musical Director Ben England BEM will lead you through the whole Haydn “Nelson” Mass in masterclasses throughout the day, teaching you how to get the most from your voice and from the music. You will also have the opportunity to meet and socialise with the other singers throughout the day.

After the workshops, Ben will conduct us in an informal, late-afternoon concert performance of the “Nelson” Mass, accompanied by four soloists and a pianist/organist, which your family and friends will be able to come and watch free of charge.
