The choir recently undertook a jazz course for HOW DO YOU KEEP THE MUSIC PLAYING and here is the full backing track we used to learn this wonderful song:

It was arranged by Alexander L’Estrange for his wife, Joanna, who was with the Swingle Singers when he arranged it for her.

Joanna then taught us this arrangement and were treated to the most positive, entertaining and informative teaching which went way beyond the song itself.

So popular were Joanna’s choral warm-ups and explanations of diaphragm use and breath control etc that we decided to capture all of this in one video.
